Quality, Sustainability, and Safety – Certified and Strengthened

We are proud to announce the successful completion of our ISO audits for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. These certifications reaffirm our dedication to delivering high-quality services, protecting the environment, and ensuring the health and safety of our team.

What These Certifications Mean

  • ISO 9001: Demonstrates our commitment to consistent quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • ISO 14001: Highlights our responsibility towards environmental sustainability and reducing our ecological footprint.
  • ISO 45001: Ensures we prioritise workplace safety, employee wellbeing, and proactive risk management.

Why This Matters

  • Customer trust: Clients can be confident in our processes and outcomes.
  • Environmental responsibility: We actively contribute to a greener future.
  • Employee safety: Our workforce thrives in a safe and supportive environment.

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our employees, the support of our partners, and the trust of our customers. Together, we continue to raise the bar for excellence.

Achieving these certifications is not the end—it’s a commitment to continuous improvement. We look forward to building on this success and driving positive impact across quality, sustainability, and safety.

Radon Monitoring: Safeguarding Your Building Occupants

At JYM Partnership, we know effective building management includes protecting the health and wellbeing of occupants. One often-overlooked hazard is radon gas, a naturally occurring, colourless, and odourless radioactive gas that can seep into buildings from the ground. Prolonged exposure to high radon levels increases the risk of lung cancer and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, and the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017 (IRR17) require employers and those responsible for premises to monitor and manage this risk.

Our Radon Monitoring Service

We deliver radon monitoring at scale and are set up for clients with extensive property portfolios to help them understand, assess, and manage radon risks. For example we currently manage radon monitoring for a national client with over 2,300 properties across the UK, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Initial Risk Assessment – We review whether your property lies in a radon-affected area, in conjunction with the UK Health Security Agency.
  • Installation of Radon Monitors – Discreet detectors are placed strategically to collect accurate readings.
  • Analysis and Reporting – Results are analysed to determine radon levels and compliance status.

If levels exceed the actionable threshold, we support with:

  • Radon Protection Advisor Support – We can connect you with a qualified Radon Protection Advisor to carry out a detailed risk assessment and provide tailored recommendations
  • Remedial Works – Coordination with specialist contractors to implement effective mitigation measures.

We simplify radon management—from risk identification and testing to expert advice and remediation—so you can meet statutory obligations and protect occupants with confidence.

JYM benefits from drone technology

Over the last few years, drones have become an indispensable tool at JYM Partnership.  Making use of this technology allows us to improve our service offering and reduce safety risks.

Traditional building surveys can be time-consuming and resource intensive. They can require extensive equipment, scaffolding, and even multiple surveyors. In contrast, drones can cover large areas swiftly and accurately. This speed doesn’t just save time; it reduces costs and allows our surveyors to be more efficient.

Surveying large, inaccessible, or hazardous structures can pose significant safety risks.  By using drones, JYM’s surveyors can obtain detailed imagery and data from these areas without ever leaving the ground. This minimises the need for potentially dangerous manual inspections and keeps JYM surveyors safe while still gathering critical information.

Drones are ideal for inspecting hard-to-reach areas, like roofs, gutters, or tall façades. The ability to access remote areas quickly and safely means JYM’s surveyors can identify issues that might be missed using traditional methods and provide Clients with quick and effective advice on how to prevent or stop building fabric problems.

Below are a few Aerial Survey pictures taken using our drone by our Chartered Building Surveyors whilst out on inspections. A picture can speak a thousand words and clearly shows where roof works are required while the Surveyor keeps both feet firmly on the ground.

Loose, slipped or missing roof slates
Widespread failure of roof coatings
Views of roof surfaces not visible from ground level
It’s always nice to get a full view of the area, especially when the sky is blue.
