JYM’s Architecture Team has provided Architectural services to assist in the delivery of a 2,000sqm new build Industrial unit at Walton Summit and are currently managing the final elements of a 2 year redevelopment to replace the previous building which was totally destroyed by fire.
The £2million project included a bespoke internal office development which utilised a gable end of the Industrial unit and was fenestrated by a ribbon window arrangement to maximise natural daylight within the office environment. A curtain walling system was incorporated to emphasise the entrance to the building and to create strong views to the entrance from the first floor boardroom.
The project was designed to BREEAM standards, including items such as electric car charging points within the car park. The construction was undertaken whilst a portion of the site remained in use by the business owner and managed to maintain our standard high levels of site safety.
