JYM’s Architecture Team provided Architectural services to assist in the delivery of a new Holiday Inn Express in Wigan.
The former Newspaper print press hall was the home to the Wigan Observer and Wigan Evening Post for the last 30 years and has been converted into a new, ‘Gen4 – next generation’ 86 bedroom hotel, complete with Restaurant, Bar and meeting facilities.
The £6million project was completed to IHG’s high aesthetic and environmental quality standards, whilst a portion of the site remained in use during the construction period, by the Wigan Evening Post.
